When it was first brought to my attention, I couldn’t believe it. Not only was the Medwiser.org website being viewed by over 8,200 visitors a month, but our engagement of readers rivaled some of the most popular websites on the internet!

Using a powerful engagement statistic called bounce rate, or the number of visitors to a website that leave a website after reading one article, Medwiser performed better than CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Fox News and other HIV related websites like Aids.gov. As you can see in the above infographic, our numbers were also competitive when it comes to daily page views per user, as well as time spent on the website per user.
